We explore together what matters to you to create a foundation for change in your life.  We will gain insights and clarity on how to reach your goals through questions and discussions.  Different hypnotherapy approaches work for different people as we’re all unique.

If we then decide to work together, we will design your individual plan for success and evaluate how we will proceed.

What happens during a session of hypnotherapy?

An orientation is given to guide you into a relaxed hypnotic state of mind followed by hypnosis methods (e.g., guided imagery and suggestions) that are tailored to addressing your self-presenting issues. (Information related to your self-presenting issues are pre-identified in an intake form.)
As you connect with your subconscious mind, you’ll allow yourself to uncover your own answers.  During hypnosis you don’t become unconscious and the mind is always conscious of your surroundings yet not distracted.  Hypnosis helps you change your unwanted habits and behaviours.

Post

How will I feel after a therapy session?

You’ll feel wide awake and revitalised after a hypnosis session.  Some people may experience mental clarity and greater motivation towards their actions and connection with themselves and others around them.
You’ll be free to continue your daily routine as you normally would be it returning to work or back home.  Furthermore, some people find calmness and notice a transformed outlook towards day-to-day activities.

Is hypnosis mind control and will I do something I’m not in control of?

Hypnosis isn’t a form of mind control and the mind is always conscious of your surroundings.  Hypnosis strengthens the connection between the mind and the body to enable people to exert more control over their own perceptions.
You will not do or say anything that you don’t want or intend including revealing secrets.  All ethical, moral and social norms remain in place during hypnosis so there is no need to worry to about losing control.
